When seasons change
“Everything has its season. Everything has its time.” These are lyrics from Pippin, the musical. For those of you who know me well, you know I am a Broadway nut. These words have special meaning to me now. I believe everything does have its season and seasons change. What works for us in one part of our lives may not translate or transfer to the next.
I find myself in one such season. I have written my blog about helping professionals and managers deal with ever-changing circumstances and monumental shifts in the workplace, society, and life for four years. I turned some of my blogs into a book, Succeed from the Middle, which sold almost 1,000 copies.
I want to thank everyone for subscribing and reading my blog for the last four years and promoting and buying my book. It is time to turn my attention to other projects and passions. So, I am sunsetting the blog today.
I spend my every day helping people develop their skills and knowledge to feel fulfilled and succeed on the job. This continues to be my driving force. I hope to work on a couple of online courses for professionals focused on human skills, which are becoming more essential in the age of AI, as well as prioritizing some volunteer work (and relaxation!).
Most of my posts are evergreen and will never go away. If you ever need to find them for reference, go to my Archives on Substack: https://kaciewalters.substack.com/archive. They will also be available soon on my website: www.kaciewalters.com.
I hope you can lean into your season, work on what lights you up and gives you energy, and know when it is time to let something go when it may not.
You can find me on LinkedIn commenting on salient issues and when I am ready to publish my next works. Until then…take care and find your inner rock star!
